Overall the trip was good and we'd probably return. The things I saw, I never witnessed at Disney. I have no complaints about the park itself, but I did seem to notice quite a bid of rudeness displayed both by children (right in front of their parents) and parents (right in front of their children). The games were surprisingly not overpriced and several were set up so that younger players always walk away with something. There is such a variety of rides that every age group should be satisfied as we were with our two children. After lunch we started making our way to the dry rides, and by this time, the crowds were in the Boardwalk, so the lines for the coasters and such were very short (10 mins max). My wife and I both had chicken sandwhiches which I think must have sat on the grill for a couple hours (soo dry). We purchased food vouchers ahead of time at guest relations which saved us money as we refilled our cups several times throughout the day, but the food itself was the worst. At about 1:00 we broke for lunch just as the Boardwalk started filling up. Up until about 12:30 we could almost walk right on every slide as most guests hadn't arrived there yet. Got into our swimsuits and headed straight for the water attractions. As soon as we entered the park, we headed straight for the Boardwalk and rented a large locker for the day ($20). I'd say that preferred parking isn't worth it if you get there early enough. On the day of our full day visit (a Friday), we got there about a half hour before the park opened, got a decent parking spot and waited at the gate for the rope drop. We took advantage of the Preview Plan which allows you to visit for a couple hours the night before you plan to spend the day there (for free with your next day tickets), this was helpful to get an idea of the layout of the park and ride a few rides as the crowds are thinner at night. First off, never pay full price for admission tickets, there are so many deals out there to be had, just google it and find one (Boy Scouts, Giant Supermarket, etc). We visited Hershey Park over two days in Late June.
